SRD R370 payment dates are personal. Unlike the Older Persons, Disability and Children's grants, SASSA doesn't publish one fixed SRD date for everyone. Each approved person gets their own date, which appears on their status page. That's why posts announcing "the SRD date" for everyone are often wrong.
Step by step: find your SRD pay date
- Go to srd.sassa.gov.za and choose Application Status.
- Enter your ID number and cellphone number, then tap Send PIN.
- Enter the PIN and submit.
- Find the month (for example November 2026).
- Read the date next to "Approved". No date means payment isn't scheduled yet.
When SRD is usually paid
⚠️ Not officially published: SRD payments have often been made in the second half of the month, in batches. SASSA doesn't publish this as a rule. Only the date on your own status counts.
November 2026 grant dates (not SRD)
For comparison, SASSA's published November 2026 dates for permanent grants were: Older Persons 30 October, Disability 2 November, Children's 3 November, grants under review 5 November (SASSA media statement, 14 October 2026). These dates don't apply to SRD. Full calendar: SASSA payment dates.
If your SRD payment is late
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Approved, no date yet | Wait; dates are added when batches are scheduled |
| Date passed less than 3 working days ago | Wait for the bank to reflect it |
| Date passed over a week ago, nothing received | Check banking details, then contact SASSA |
| Bank details pending | Fix them: bank details pending |
More: approved but no payment.
Frequently asked questions
Is there one SRD payment date for everyone?
No. Each approved person gets an individual date on their status page.
Can I get my SRD at a shop?
Depending on your chosen method, cash send or bank payments can be withdrawn at banks, ATMs and some retailers. See SASSA payment methods.
Why does Facebook show a different SRD date?
Social media posts often guess. Only trust the date on srd.sassa.gov.za.
